My Animal Planet idol, Steve Irwin the Croc Hunter, died the other day during filming in the Great Barrier Reef when a stingray pierced his heart with its poisonous stinger.

The world is down one crazy guy. And I'm really gonna miss him.



PS: The irony that a croc didn't finish him off is the real kicker.

Hi everyone. It's me.
Lyons suits me; I can walk everywhere and take tons of pictures and there's delicious food to eat. I am getting pretty comfortable with French. I understand more than I can speak, but I can still speak decently. (Camillie and I went to the movies on Sunday and saw this really great serious animated movie called "Renaissance.") France is beautiful in the spring. I will show you all pictures of it when I get back. We are going to Paris on Thursday. I miss you all and hope you aren't having too much fun in my absence. ;-) Love you all much. See you soon.

Today in robotics Christina and I were playing with the pink styrofoam. We had a race to see who could carve a curve out of the stuff the fastest. 80-20 Girl *fanfare* won using her spoon, leaving Princess Pi to eat her packing peanuts with her cheese grater. Then we were completely covered in little flecks of pink foam. It's safe to say that we had the most fun today out of everybody. (Scott had the best expression when he saw our handiwork. Yay for Scott!)

But I'm in one of those moods right now where I wonder if anyone would notice if I died. Just *poof.* Gone. Out of sight, out of mind. Maybe there is a heaven. I wonder if they had forests there...

Woo-hoo! I'm photo person in Robotics! Score!!! I get the kit camera tomorrow, but I took pics with my own today. Btw, Amal & Christina, I need a paid account to get the pics onto livejournal. So the idea doesn't work.  :(  Have some pudding. Chocolate pudding. (Yep, I said "Pud" and then "Ding." ^_^ You know who you are.)

It's gonna be fun to see what the hell comes out this year, especially with my brother in charge. It's so weird to have him be Mr. Chief Man Sir Peter. Ya know, with all this importance and power and stuff and to me he's just...Pete. My brother. (Who IS human, Archie!!!)

Speaking of Archie, we had a lot of fun at the Kick-Off today because there were quite a few cute and hot guys there. *sigh* It's so nice to have such a fresh selection of lovable losers. They are so funny. Last year a Junior and Senior were hitting on Arch & me, and we just couldn't stop laughing. To quote Dave & myself: "His mind is weak and brittle, like a candy cane. We shall break him easily." "Yes, and manipulative like a gummi worm. You know, manipulative cause you can bend them into any shape you want." (Dave was the second person.)
